rexguard
rexguard stands between your website and the internet. Visitors' requests reach our servers first; we stop attacks and pass everything else on to your server. Your site stays where it is.
What it does
- Stops attacks. Signatures recognise SQL injection, cross-site scripting, path traversal, command injection, probes for sensitive files and vulnerability scanners.
- Keeps out known bad networks. Reputation lists of hijacked and criminal networks, and the addresses that attack any site we protect.
- Follows your rules. Block, allow, log or challenge requests by path, country, network, browser and more.
- Checks browsers instead of puzzles. A short check the browser solves by itself, no captcha; the under-attack switch puts it in front of your whole site.
- Watches your traffic. Detection of unusual traffic and a bot model, statistics and email alerts.
- Handles certificates. HTTPS for your domain names, issued and renewed by us.
How switching works
- Sign up and add your site: its domain names and your server's address.
- Add a TXT record that proves the domain is yours, and point the domain to us.
- We check DNS every few minutes. Once your records are there, the certificate follows by itself and the protection starts.
The details are in the guide Pointing a domain to rexguard.
Free to start
Free protects one site with two domain names, three custom rules and a week of statistics. Paid plans add rate limits, automatic challenges of unusual traffic, the bot model's challenges and a year of statistics: see the plans.
